The Curious Case of the Cricket Bat & the Queen’s Head

by

Francisco-Xavier López-Portillo y Lancaster-Jones

A sunny Autumn morning in Mexico City.

Pedro, a young editor and enthusiastic cricketer, receives several surprises: two parcels one from the United Kingdom, and the other, a manuscript. At the same time, Ursula begins working at the same publishing house.

Meanwhile, strange things start happening to Pedro. Everything suggests that one of the two packages is connected to something mysterious, and there are men keen on getting their hands on it. Just when it seems that everything is going to end badly, a decisive game of cricket will settle it all.
